Designed for Traditional Stone Buildings

Classic Puglian homes, Trulli & Masserie, are built with exceptionally thick limestone walls. They are part of what makes these remarkable buildings so beautiful and unique—but they can also make the installation of conventional heating systems difficult, disruptive and costly.

Conventional heating often requires walls to be chased for pipework, space for radiators and boilers, and the involvement of several specialist trades.

Calore Verde works with the building rather than against it.

The heating fabric is simply fixed to the wall or ceiling before normal plastering, or installed beneath suitable floor finishes, greatly reducing the structural alterations associated with many conventional heating systems while helping preserve the original character of the property.

Natural Thermal Mass

The Walls Become Part of the Heating System

The substantial limestone walls of a traditional trullo are one of its greatest strengths. Rather than working against the building, Calore Verde works in harmony with its natural construction.

As gentle far-infrared warmth reaches the internal wall surfaces, the limestone absorbs and stores heat before releasing it gradually back into the room. This creates a beautifully even temperature throughout the space without sudden fluctuations or dry circulating air.

The building itself becomes part of the heating system, making full use of its natural thermal mass to deliver lasting comfort with remarkable efficiency.

Radiant Heating

A Different Kind of Heat

Traditional heating systems warm the air. Calore Verde gently warms people and surrounding surfaces directly, creating a naturally balanced indoor environment that feels calm, comfortable and beautifully consistent throughout every room.
01

Direct Radiant Warmth

Instead of heating the air first, radiant warmth reaches people and surrounding surfaces naturally for immediate comfort.

02

Natural Heat Storage

Walls, ceilings, floors and furnishings gently absorb warmth before releasing it gradually back into the living space.

03

Comfort Like Sunshine

Many homeowners describe the sensation as standing in gentle spring sunshine rather than feeling hot circulating air.

04

Balanced Temperatures

Enjoy beautifully even warmth throughout your home without the uncomfortable hot and cold spots of conventional heating.

Thoughtfully Engineered

Manufactured in Germany to exacting standards, the heating system combines proven engineering with intelligent control.

Each room can be independently controlled using programmable smart thermostats or a smartphone, allowing temperatures to be tailored to the way you live.

Powered entirely by electricity, the system requires no oil, LPG or gas. Compatible with solar and wind energy, it offers a clean, future-ready heating solution while reducing reliance on fluctuating fuel prices.

With no boiler, pumps, valves or water-filled pipework, the system is completely maintenance free and operates silently.

Smart infrared heating control system

A Warmer, Drier Home

Condensation forms when warm air meets cold internal surfaces.

By gently warming walls, ceilings and other internal surfaces, radiant heating helps reduce cold spots where condensation is more likely to occur.

This can help reduce damp and mould problems, particularly in older stone buildings, creating a warmer, drier and healthier indoor environment than conventional air-based heating systems.

Discover the Difference

Designed for Modern Living

Safe, Clean & Silent

Radiant heat is a naturally occurring form of energy and is the same gentle warmth experienced from sunshine, without ultraviolet light. Invisible, clean and completely silent, the system provides comfortable radiant warmth without radiators, boilers, burners or water-filled pipework.

Year-Round Comfort

Many traditional homes, holiday properties, agriturismi and boutique hotels are occupied for only part of the year because they can be difficult or expensive to heat during the cooler months. Comfortable radiant heating can help transform seasonal accommodation into properties that can be enjoyed throughout the year, creating greater comfort and extended opportunities for owners and guests alike.

Why Calore Verde?

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know

What is radiant heating?
Radiant heating gently warms people and surrounding surfaces rather than simply heating the air. Walls, floors and ceilings absorb the warmth before releasing it naturally back into the room, creating an even and comfortable indoor environment.
Where can the heating system be installed?
The heating fabric can be installed:
  • Within walls before plastering.
  • Within ceilings before plastering.
  • Beneath suitable floor finishes.
The installation method depends on the design and construction of each property.
Will I still need radiators?
No. The heating system is completely hidden within the building, leaving walls free from radiators and providing complete freedom for furniture placement and interior design.
Do I need a boiler?
No. There is no boiler, no pumps and no water-filled pipework.
Can each room be controlled independently?
Yes. Every room can be individually controlled using programmable smart thermostats or a smartphone.
Is the system suitable for renewable energy?
Yes. Because the system operates entirely on electricity, it works exceptionally well with solar and wind energy systems.
Will it help reduce damp and mould?
By gently warming internal wall surfaces, radiant heating helps reduce cold spots where condensation is more likely to occur. This can help reduce damp and mould problems, particularly within traditional stone buildings.
Does the system require servicing?
No. With no boiler, pumps, valves or water-filled pipework, the system is completely maintenance free.
Is it suitable for historic buildings?
Yes. Calore Verde is particularly well suited to trulli, masserie, farmhouses, villas and other traditional stone buildings where preserving the original character of the property is an important consideration.
Is it suitable for new-build homes?
Absolutely. The system is equally suited to contemporary homes, offering discreet, comfortable heating without compromising interior design.
